Time Capsule

With Park Lane being the oldest Chapel in the area and renowned for having well keep grounds, we were asked by a local group, “Friends around Bryn” to have a “time capsule” buried in our grounds. We were pleased and honoured to accept the offer, and on Thursday 10^th August, with 30 people in attendance, Edward Painter, one of our Committee had the honour of burying the time capsule. Included in the capsule are current photos, inside and out, of the Chapel, a list of current members of Chapel, Unitarian badges, a Chapel magazine, a copy of the Inquirer and several other bits and pieces. It was up to us how long we wanted the capsule to be buried for. Someone came up with, the year 2097, which will coincide with the 400^th anniversary of the Chapel being built.
