In Loving Memory of Margaret Griffiths

18 Feb 2026

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Margaret Griffiths, a much-loved member of our chapel family, passed away peacefully in the early hours of 11th February.

Margaret’s presence among us was a quiet blessing. In ways both seen and unseen, she enriched our community simply by being part of it. At Park Lane, we speak often of being more than a congregation; we are a family, and Margaret was truly one of us. Her faithfulness, warmth, and companionship will be deeply missed.

Her loss will be keenly felt in the familiar spaces she once occupied: in the greetings at the door, in shared conversations, in the gathered stillness of worship. We give thanks for her life, for the time we were privileged to share with her, and for the love she brought into this community.

A funeral service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at Park Lane Chapel on Thursday, the 19th of March at 1:00 pm. All who knew and loved Margaret are warmly invited to attend and to join us in remembering her.

May we hold her memory with gratitude, and one another with care.
