Sunday Service 10th of August "A Faith That Endures"

Calice A Faith That Endures

You’re warmly invited to our Sunday Service, "A Faith That Endures"

11 am at Park Lane Unitarian Chapel, 10th of August 2025.

“You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognise the possibilities and challenges of the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith, and hope.”
—Thomas Merton

It’s easy to come along and join in one of our services. We always begin by lighting our chalice, a symbol of shared light and sacred presence.

Each service includes hymns and prayers, which you’re welcome to join in or simply listen to as you feel comfortable. Readings are drawn from a wide range of traditions: from Christianity and other world faiths, to poetry, philosophy, and secular thought. There is no expectation that you agree with every word—only that you bring an open heart.

Led by our Minister Elect, Robert Dennis Foreman, our gatherings are a space to reflect, connect, and be nourished in spirit. You’ll find a warm welcome, whatever your beliefs or non-beliefs.

Join us and stay for tea, coffee, and friendly conversation in the Schoolroom afterwards.
